Spicy rum lemonade (fresh squeezed) on a rainy burger night with the kids, dog and husband was the fix. After dodging raindrops all day for visits to the dentist, grocery store and indoor play palace, I was desperate for some feeling of spring.
Immediately, I thought about those lemons my daughter insisted on buying at the grocery store. Is she a genius or what? I rule on the genius side. My daughter and I squeezed those lemons and made ourselves some springtime.
